When I was in Israel September 28-October 9 this year the Lord spoke to me through some very interesting signs. What I am sharing in this update has a timeline for us to agree and enter into with the Lord. To enter the second chance is to go through the Door of Hope. Jesus is the Door of Hope. He will fulfill His promises!!
We are in a season of second chances to get aligned with the Lord’s will for our lives. On Rosh Hashanah, September 28, 2011, the moon did not appear, so the Rabbi’s declared September 29 the official Rosh Hashanah. It was a second chance.
While in Jerusalem, we turned our clocks back on October 1. This week the US will turn their clocks back on November 5. The Lord revealed to me that this was very significant. I was getting the chance to turn the clock back twice! God is redeeming time for us and bringing us into a double portion season. Believe and Receive!!
God is a God of second chances. We may not always get things right, but God always gives us a second chance. Many decisions and ways we have done things in the past were not the ways of the Lord. He is giving us a chance to align our thinking and ways with His.
Psalm 86:11 says:
Teach me Your way, O LORD ; I will walk in Your truth ; Unite my heart to fear Your name.
We get to live in the place of repentance, where we change the way we think, the way we see things, the way we respond to others and circumstances, our beliefs and many other things that need to be adjusted. Repentance is cleansing. I want to share something we did while we were there.
Tashlich is a ritual that many Jews observe during Rosh Hashanah. “Tashlich” means “casting off” in Hebrew and involves symbolically casting off the sins of the previous year by tossing pieces of bread or another food into a body of flowing water. Just as the water carries away the bits of bread, so too are sins symbolically carried away. In this way the participant hopes to start the New Year with a clean slate.
God will take us back in love;
God will cover up our iniquities,
You [God] will hurl all our sins
Into the depths of the sea. (Micah 7:19)
Matthew 4: 17 From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Repent means changing your direction, your way of thinking.
Greek Strongs 3340 Metanoeo: Repent
to change one’s mind, i.e. to repent
to change one’s mind for better,
heartily to amend with abhorrence of one’s past sins
Jesus took all our sins. As a team we went to the Red Sea and did Tashlich. It was very meaningful knowing that the blood of Jesus took all our sins away. They are cast into the deepest sea. No more works of man needed, but the Holy Spirit helps us to repent.
Hebrews 10: 7-17
“THEN I SAID, ‘BEHOLD, I HAVE COME (IN THE SCROLL OF THE BOOK IT IS WRITTEN TO DO YOUR WILL, O GOD.’ ” After saying above, “SACRIFICES AND OFFERINGS AND WHOLE BURNT OFFERINGS AND sacrifices FOR SIN YOU HAVE NOT DESIRED, NOR HAVE YOU TAKEN PLEASURE in them” (which are offered according to the Law ), then He said, “BEHOLD, I HAVE COME TO DO YOUR WILL.” He takes away the first in order to establish the second. By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Every priest stands daily ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins ; but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD, waiting from that time onward UNTIL HIS ENEMIES BE MADE A FOOTSTOOL FOR HIS FEET. For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after saying, “THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD : I WILL PUT MY LAWS UPON THEIR HEART, AND ON THEIR MIND I WILL WRITE THEM,” He then says, “AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE.”
When we repent and return to the Lord fully, we are clean and light! Refreshing comes as we come into the presence of the Lord without anything hindering our entering in! We come boldly through the blood of the Lamb!
Acts 3:19 says:
“Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord ;
I received from the Lord on October 3, 2011 while worshipping at Succot Hallel in Jerusalem, Israel. It was such a sweet download from His heart.
We have a second chance to turn back to the ways of the Lord as He renews our minds and thinking.
To turn back to His ways, turn back to truth, turn back to purity, turn back to living wholly for God.
To turn away from foolishness.
To turn away from false prophetic words that tickle the flesh and please the ear, yet brings no life.
Turn back to simple faith and pure devotion to God.
Turn to seek His face, His kingdom first.
Turn to God; turn to our first love and allow His holy flame of love to consume us.
Turn away from self-promotion, from manmade religion and platforms that exalt man.
Turn back to living in and from the kingdom of heaven.
Turn away from disappointment, turn back to trust.
Turn away from failure, turn back to faith and risk again.
Turn away from lack and poverty, turn back to Kingdom principles.
Turn away from rejection, turn back to His love and acceptance.
Turn away from hope deferred, turn to the Door of Hope Who is Jesus!
Turn away from betrayal, turn to forgiveness.
Turn away from everything that separates from Abba Father
Return to be a son, a daughter of the King!
Turn to the Lord and receive a new mandate.
Turn to His holy mountain where His help comes from.
Turn to Zion, to the salvation of the Lord.
Time to turn onto the Highway of Holiness.
After He spoke these things to me I saw a vision of an ancient wooden door. Jesus was standing in front of it and He had His hand on a clock. He was redeeming the time. The door was very low and you could only go in through the Blood of the Lamb, in humility, taking a low posture. He is standing at this door ready to redeem the time.
When you turn back your clocks this Saturday November 6 seek the Lord for the areas you need to repent, the things you need to turn away from. Take time with Him to cleanse your heart and heal any broken place. Now turn to Him with new thinking and devotion! It’s a great opportunity to spend that extra hour with Him! Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you! Believe His promises, receive the fullness and go through the door that is open before you! This is the Door of Hope! Times of refreshing and renewal are coming!
Blessings of renewal and Holy Spirit fire,
