A Divine Re:
The Lord re-named my blog for writing and videos. It is now called, A Poet’s Perch. Perhaps my bird’s eye view will enable others to see a glimpse of grace in the midst of the ebb and flow of life.
Last year was a time of great change for Randy & I. As we stepped out into the unknown of re-location, the Lord began to direct me to spend the summer months resting and detoxing from ministry. As He began to put His finger on issues in my heart, wrong beliefs affecting my attitude, He clearly spoke to my heart: “you don’t know how much the past season wounded your soul and I want to heal you”. I accepted His divine invitation.
As I waited on the Lord in my “Re” season I penned these words on June 13, 2019, a living prayer.
Papa help us…deliver us…take us…lift us.
Bring us out
Bring us up
Reform your people.
Re-order my day
Re-order my way.
Re-make my heart
Re-make my start.
Reveal Your plan
Re-establish Your hand.
Recommit I do to You
Reunited to Your truth.
Restore my destiny
Re-lift me on Your wings.
Re-boot my capacity
Re-launch into heavenlies.
Reignited burning bright
Re-awakened Holy Light.
Re-calibrated move forward
Returned to You Lord.
Re-aligned for Your Divine
Re-purposed to shine.
The scripture He led me to during my Re-season is Jeremiah 31:25:
For I satisfy the weary ones and [d]refresh everyone who languishes. NASB
I encourage you to read Jeremiah 31:15-26, maybe even all of chapter 31 and hear what the Lord is speaking to you.
I have much I could say, but I’m going to leave this simple.
May you discover the “Re” God has appointed for you.
Shalom & Love,
