The Lord watches over you—

Beloved, I recently sat with the Lord to write a poem for loved ones who are grieving. May these words fill your heart and soul with glorious hope in the One Who is the Beginning and the End, the One Who is the Author and Finisher, and the One Who has conquered the sting of death for those who believe in Jesus.

Sunrise, sunset ~
Beautiful expectation.
The meaning of each to be seen.
The sun arising,
Dawn announcing
A new horizon.
A setting sun,
Prelude of promise
Revealing the coming day.
More is understood with eternity’s view,
Glimpses of majesty, hidden in Father’s heart.
Trust opens faith’s door,
Jesus, the way through valley dark.
Peace flowing ~
Stillness comforts ~
Shadows flee ~
Mercy brings meaning to grief.
Once again ~
Loving-kindness awakens a new day,
Healing found in sweet remembrance.
Love shines brighter than death’s shadow.
For the one, loved ~
Now, home forever ~
Dwells in the land of the living.
